1. A Godly woman is accountable to God

This is undoubtedly the most important attribute of a godly woman, it’s not enough for someone to love God, they must be accountable to him.

She is disciplined in her walk with the lord, she recognizes that her worth and value comes from God so she lives in reverence of God and in obedience to his word

2. A Godly woman is disciplined

One of the important attributes of a godly woman is discipline, she is one who has respect for herself and others so she doesn’t just live life carelessly, she behaves in a way that portrays maturity and virtue.

3. A Godly woman is content

Being content is a very unique attribute of someone who finds and draws her worth from God, she doesn’t see the need to compete with people of the world and keep up with the Joneses.

She is driven and motivated by God’s plan for her life not by what everyone else is acquiring or showing off.

She is humble enough to carry out assignments that are seemingly beneath her earthly position, so long as it pleases God.

5. A Godly woman is resourceful

One of the major lessons from the Proverbs 31 woman is her ability to make something out of little or nothing.

She took responsibility to prepare her family for the next season. She is not wasteful, she makes the best of her resources, gifts, and talents to be of service to others and bring glory to God.

6. A Godly woman communes with God daily

A woman who is godly draws her strength from her secret place, she spends time reading the word of God, listening to messages that edify and build her up, enjoys music that uplifts her spirit, she has a desire to get closer to God daily.

7. A Godly woman tarries in the place of prayer

Prayer is one of the ways that God reveals things to his children, she is not a 5 minutes good morning Jesus woman.

She tarries in the place of prayer to not only make her requests known to God but to also hear the heartbeat of the Father and know his mind concerning issues of life.

Remember that God only reveals the deep and secret things to those who lean closer and develop their personal altar.

8. A Godly woman pursues peace

She makes peace with people who have offended her and gives grace to people who do things that hurt her.

That doesn’t necessarily mean she can be taken for a ride but she endeavors to rid her heart of resentment and hatred in order to have the right spirit.

9. A Godly woman is not ashamed to share the gospel

Beautiful are the feet of they that bring good news…

She is not ashamed to share her faith and bring others to the knowledge of Christ. In whatever form and in all manner of conversations, she talks about Jesus to let others know whose she is and help them understand why salvation is the most important message of all.

10. A Godly woman is committed to the growth of others

She helps others grow, she teaches counsels and gives her time and resources to set them on the path of success.

She is not self-centered, she is willing to help others become better versions of themselves. She brings joy to the life of her partner, spouse, family, friends, and the church of God.
