How to introduce yourself to a PR Agency as a creator.
Once you’ve gotten the correct PR Email contact, send them a mail introducing yourself, the kind of content you’re creating and the important metrics like reach, impressions and number of followers.
Sample Media Kit and Rate Card
Design yours on Canva, you can choose from different templates but don’t forget the most important metrics you need to add. Also note that your rate will depend on the number of followers, your location and the quality of work you are offering. If you are hiring a full photographer and videographer you will need to charge more than what you charge if you are doing a home shoot or creating by yourself.
Don’t overcharge or under charge, let them tell you what they are offering before you give a rate. These rates are only a base charge. Exclusivity and links in bio for extended times also attract extra charges. Everything depends on the kind of campaign and the brand so charge accordingly.
NOTE : Brand collabs are not the only way you can make money as a creator; there are other income sourcesiliate marketing, LTK (Like to Know it sales), blog ad revenue or Youtube revenue. You can make money from course sales, consultations, ebook and e-product sales, you can also create merch often to sell, the possibilities are endless. Keep creating!
