DAMILOLA & GABRIEL THE TRUE LOVE STORY: I DIDN’T ASK HER OUT, I ASKED HER IN

Hi, Lovelies!  I’m elated to bring you the true love story of Damilola & Gabriel. Gabriel happens to be one of my very loyal readers on the blog, to think that he congratulated others on their wedding stories and his own love story is now here, makes me really happy for him.

Damilola and Gabriel have a very beautiful kind of love towards each other, let me give you one quick one. He calls her AREWA MI, how cool is that? From the way he was excited while we discussed, you can tell that the guy is head over heels in love with Damilola.

Let’s get right into the love story of Damilola & Gabriel

HOW DID YOU MEET AND WHERE?

Damilola: We have been friends way back from university.
Though nothing serious. Just on the “Hi” and “Hello” level.

Gabriel: Our meeting is divine, we both schooled in the same university. Attended the same fellowship (RCF OAU) but we were just hi hi friends at the time. Nothing serious at all back then.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP?

Damilola: Two years. We officially started courting in October 2nd, 2015.

Gabriel: Our paths crossed again two years after school and the friendship started. On October 2nd 5:27pm  to be precise at the redemption camp the relationship started officially. I asked her a month before and she said yes a month after.One interesting thing is that she knew 6months before I came proposing that I was the MAN for her so she kept praying for courage for me.

WHAT WAS THE PROPOSAL LIKE?

Damilola: Hmmmmmm, the proposal was so direct. Well, I knew he would come. So I kept my calm.

Gabriel: My proposal wasn’t too romantic it was direct. I am a romantic man but I just went straight for what I wanted but in my case, I  did not ASK HER OUT….RATHER I ASKED HER IN….??

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT EACH OTHER?

Damilola:  Wow! Gabriel is caring, enthusiastic, devout, selfless. Words can’t quantify his characters.

Gabriel: I call her Arewa mi. I love her zeal for God, her simplicity, her smiles (hmm it wows me) she is teachable. She is portable??…she is a matured lady..though small in stature but endowed with wisdom.

HOW DO YOU PICTURE  YOUR FUTURE WITH EACH OTHER WOULD BE LIKE?

Damilola: Our future is bright and wonderful. We have set our home on Christ the Solid Rock where our imperfections will be made perfect.

Gabriel: Our future is secured in Christ.I look forward to a blissful home and a home that is worthy of emulation.

WHAT’S YOUR ADVICE FOR SINGLES STILL WAITING TO FIND ONE?

Damilola:  My word for single ladies out there, don’t waste your singleness brooding on where is Mr.Right.
Invest the time of waiting for something profitable. Read books and listen to messages that prepare you for marriage. Learn a skill. Hang out and enjoy life.
Above all don’t neglect the place God and the place of prayer.

Gabriel: Being single isn’t a curse, it’s a phase everyone must pass through. Enjoy it while it lasts. Invest your time wisely, seek more of God.I mean this…..BE BUSY WHILE WAITING.

So there you have it guys, a beautiful one from Damilola and Gabriel. Don’t brood, stay active. Use your time productively, work for God.
