HOW TO: EASY FAUX BUN UP DO HAIR STYLE IN 10 MINUTES
Hey, lovelies, I made this really quick faux bun hairstyle to weekly service last week and I thought to share with you guys.
I am just about 3 months Natural right now, I had my second big chop on the 1st of September 2017, see it here. My hair is still short and the shrinkage struggle is real, I pretty much have it like this all the time.
I decided to switch things up a bit and I’m so glad I pulled this really easy style off. I legit had it on for 5 straight days. For real guys, 5 days!! I’m also so glad I found the best mousse for braids. I just wanted to share this with you, let’s get right into this hairstyle
To accomplish this style I used:
- Noble Gold Natural Braid Marley hair
- Manzanilla Gel (any gel would do)
- Marc Anthony Shea Butter & Coconut oil cream
- Bobby pins :Big & small sized
- Water
- Olive oil
- Comb
- Brush
-
Step 1
-
After combing out your hair, using your brush smooth out your edges. Use your gel and edge control to create a slick sleek ponytail.
-
Step 2 Tie a scarf for a few minutes
to lay your hair well and make it sleek
-
Step 3 Take your Marley hair and attach an elastic band to the middle, weave both ends of the Marley hair like a ponytail. Make a corn row at each edge and one in the middle of your hair
-
Step 4 Attach the elastic band to your hair twist the woven ends across each other to make a bun (size as you desire)
-
Step 5 Secure your bun with bobby pins and voila…You are all set!
