I KNEW I HAD TO SEE HER AGAIN…THE SEUNIDARA LOVE STORY

Sometimes you meet someone and something in you just clicks with that person not exactly like love at first sight but in your heart you just know that somewhere,somehow you just have to be with that person again…Seun and Idara sure knew they had to have a second meeting….Read the full post to see all what the groom (my high school senior) gisted us.

HOW DID YOU MEET?
We met through a mutual friend Dike Umolu towards the end of 2014. It was a hangout spot in Abuja. Seun and her Cousin (Tolu) had just finished from work, Dike invited them over to join us. We were introduced to each other…After the Hellos and what do you do(s) .. Seun and I were lost in our world of discussion, getting into our hobbies , favourite movies etc. We exchanged numbers and BBM pin, kept in touch a couple of times and decided to hang out again.. I remember trying to set up the second meeting..

THE SECOND MEETING
Idara: Howdy, I think we should hang out,
Seun: Ok
Idara: let me know when you are free
Seun: Ok

Waited for her to be free and my beards were getting longer.. lol.. so I asked again..

Idara: Sup, about our hangout when would you be free….
Seun: See, instead of asking me when I am free, just pick a day/venue and I will try and make it…

To be honest, I was like … see me trying to be a gentleman o, na wa o.. anyways, I picked a day/venue and we enjoyed each other’s company.. Discussing and all.. We got used to each as friends.

AT WHAT POINT WERE YOU CERTAIN YOU HAD FOUND THE ONE?

We were friends up until the 1st of January 2015 then we took our friendship to another level… We started dating… . We did a lot of talking prior this period… Asking each other questions.. her kind of man, previous relationships, expectations.. (Vice versa)
Now during our dating period, We took out time to understand each other.. Knowing each other’s strengths, weaknesses, and also identifying how best we could resolve issues.. I discovered that she was different.. asides the caring, loving , hardworking, beautiful personality I wanted in a woman, she was (and still) patient, prayerful, a great observer, my personal critic and a lot more than what words could describe.. I decided to consult Oluwa in prayers….. and then … He gave me the green light
We used to have conversations in the direction of “if we ever get married” these are the things we would achieve together…. And on the 13th of August 2016….. My conversation changed to a question…… WILL YOU MARRY ME?

HOW DID YOU PROPOSE?
After I had made up my mind that Oluwaseun Sarah, Omali Oshinaike was the One… I started making plans for the proposal.. I looked at my calendar, in June of 2016 and said to myself, “Oga you are proposing to Seun on the 13th of August.. So start planning”.. The question to myself was… How?

After watching several videos on Youtube…… and saying a lot of …Awwwwwwww(s)…. A yaaaaaaaaa (s)…. Niceeeeeee on people’s video.. I had to look at what was realistic to me.. A surprise perhaps.. But how? Some ideas started coming up…
– Airport proposal
– On the road
– Private dinner in a dope restaurant
Well I decided to host a dinner inviting 20 of my friends (Some of them mutual friends with her).. whew.. idea chosen now.. the script next..

The script:
I told her that she was invited to a dinner organized by colleagues in my office.. So she had to prepare well for the dinner because there were top shots who were also coming for the dinner. To spice things up, I pleaded with my boss to invite her personally so that everything would look Legit.. He did… and she fell for it..

WHAT IS THE MOST FASCINATING THING ABOUT YOUR LOVER?
She is a goal getter.. Once she sets her mind to achieve something (I mean anything) no matter how difficult it seems.. she would achieve it.

HOW DO YOU PICTURE THE FUTURE WITH YOUR LOVER?
I picture the future to be one of marital bliss.. Seun is my second half… so we gonna conquer the world together.
