THE CHEF FINDS A WIFE: THE TRUE LOVE STORY OF MOYO AND FUNMI

Hi Lovelies, it’s been a while since I brought you a true love story. I am elated to bring you the true love story of Chef Moyo and his beau Olufunmilayo Amoke. I had a quick chat with the groom and he gave us an inside scoop of how this love came to be. Sit back relax and enjoy this beautiful one.

How and Where did you two meet?

I met her officially and spoke to her at her place of work during a Daddy G.O lets Go fishing visit…She was in the Hospitality department and was also working as a P.A to the wife of the Regional pastor wife RCCG. Out of the kindness of my heart and my giving spirit I gave her an envelope with a token to appreciate her. I could tell she was very dedicated to what she was doing.

The second time I met her, I was returning from an event. We ran into each other and I offered to drop her off at home. I had a cooler of small chops with me so I gave her the chops and I refused to ask for her number. However, I was quite startled when she requested for mine and that was how communication started.

At what point were you certain that you had found the one?

Sincerely, I can’t really say there was a certain point. I just know that with her my mind is always at rest. The peace of God that I felt since she came into my life just made it clear that she was the right one for me.

How long was your courtship for?

We have been together for about 1 year and 8 months

What do you like most about her?

Amoke as I fondly call her, she has a captivating smile, she is very caring and loving. I remember her how she surprised me on Valentine’s day with a complete outfit, at the time there was really nothing going on. Somehow she got my perfect measurement and the style of the outfit was something I could have picked out myself.

I’m also drawn to her due to the fact that we both love and serve God and we function actively in the same ministry.

What was the Proposal like?

The proposal was totally a surprise to her in the presence of a few of our close friends, watch it in the video below.

How do you picture your future together?

I picture a future where God will be at the center of our lives, a future where we would both build successful businesses and raise a godly family. A future where we fulfill all that God has in store for us.

What’s your advice for singles still waiting on God for the right one?

I would encourage them not to get tired of waiting on God, he knows the perfect person that would fit into their lives. They should keep trusting him for the best. Also, its essential to make yourself useful in the vineyard of God and at the right time he will send a helpmeet that will assist and foster the achievement of your dreams.
