THE DELIGHTFUL TASTE OF CHRISTMAS…

Helloooooo Fam!!! Its yet another Christmas Season!!! Glory to the Almighty for keeping us alive to share in the joy of this season.

In the spirit of Christmas, I could see quite a number of people spotting red and white attires yesterday with the funny looking christmas caps to go with it. I also enjoyed watching the Akwa-Ibom 9999 Christmas Carol, It was amazing. Also, watching the kids in my church give a beautiful rendition of the 12days of Christmas brought back a thousand and one memories of Christmas.

I remember back in the days, our idea of an ideal christmas was the new clothes, new shoes and our christmas party with Santa-Claus at the Apapa Amusement park or Rosellas.

As the years went by, we outgrew all that and looked forward to our yearly xmas camp-outs away from home….Dolapo and Gbolayo can remember this. Loool. That was a time to hangout and be with friends…Such fun and excitement!

But gradually as we entered into adulthood the definition of an ideal christmas is home cooked meals shared with family, friends and that special someone. A nice get-away from work and stress…just relaxation with lots of food,drinks,music,movies and laughter going on.

All in all, Christmas has always and should always be a season of love, laughter,happiness, merriment and delicious meals. I can confess I have been having a sweet tooth since last week…my taste buds are responding to the grand arrival of Christmas day…Yaaaay I can’t wait!
Just incase you haven’t written your letter to Santa, its not too late oooh. Also get the gifts for your loved ones packed up.

Most importantly, don’t you EVER forget the reason for the season is JESUS…beyond all the jamboree Christmas is a time to celebrate the Supreme being, the one who came as one of us and gave us love so divine, love so true. Let’s not just celebrate the season…also celebrate and give thanks to the reason for the season. JESUS!!!
