Hi Lovelies, it’s our second true love story this week! I’m so happy guys, are you? The True love story of Tope & Opeyemi originated in the house of the lord! So if you have not been doing something #forthelord you had better get started.

Ah, mean, what if that’s where you’ll meet the one? Tope is a civil engineer while Opeyemi is Lawyer, so there’s no excuse for not making time #forthelord these two still serve God in the choir at church so Y’all with excuses should sit up, man up, woman up and do something #forthelord. Amen?

TOPE & OPEYEMI: THE LOVE STORY

HOW DID YOU MEET AND WHERE?

Opeyemi: We met in church at one of our choir rehearsals. I really could not picture his face but one major thing I can recollect is that he was on the keyboard and I knew that I could hear something different coming from the speaker.

Fortunately, the following day which was a Sunday after the church service I was privileged to see the face of the one who’s got the magic fingers, hitting all the right notes while playing on the keyboard.  I was busy attending to something (as I am the choir leader) he walked up to me and teased me saying he learnt that I am a lawyer and that lawyers talk a lot.  I smiled and that’s how we got talking.

Tope: I saw her in church, I decided to walk up to her and that’s how we got talking and became friends.

DID IT TAKE LONG TO MOVE FROM FRIENDSHIP TO RELATIONSHIP?

Tope: Ah I had to wait a while, she took her time but I patiently waited.

Opeyemi: I waited for a month before I eventually agreed, I needed to see things for myself first.

HOW LONG WAS YOUR RELATIONSHIP?

Opeyemi: We dated for about 10 months

WHAT WAS THE PROPOSAL LIKE?

Opeyemi: men!!!! The proposal was so direct. Not so romantic in its real sense but I knew he meant it from the bottom of his heart.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT EACH OTHER?

Opeyemi: First and foremost I love his passion and love for the things of Christ. Tope is a true lover of God and he is a good instrumentalist.  He is caring, loving, jovial, lively and does not pretend. He is my best friend and my gisting partner.

Tope: I like her humility and generosity. She is also very caring.

HOW DO YOU PICTURE YOUR FUTURE TOGETHER?

Opeyemi: I see a great future with Tope. A lively, godly, and a happy home. I see us growing old and loving each other better.

Tope: I picture a glorious home where Christ would be the centre, a home where we would both fulfil destiny and a home that is worthy of emulation.

WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR SINGLES OUT THERE STILL WAITING TO FIND THE ONE?

Opeyemi: To all the single ladies and men out there, it’s good to wait on God for a life partner, don’t be too hasty in your decision making, know the perfect will of God for your life and most importantly be best of friends.

Tope: I would advise that they should wait on God, God is the giver of every good thing and not by human arrangement.

So there you have it Lovelies, the love story of Tope & Opeyemi. It’s important to wait on God. Let’s not try to figure things out ourselves. Like I always say, one major bedrock of a happy relationship or marriage is friendship, develop that.

Tope & Opeyemi will be tying the knot in Akure on the 14th October 2017. LQUEENWRITES wishes them a glorious wedding ceremony and a blissful married life.
